NEW SINGLE - "Bliss (A Quarantine Song)"
My NEW SINGLE "Bliss (A Quarantine Song) is now available for download via my Bandcamp page. The price is set to "Pay What You Want" with no minimum.
A bit about the song :
During quarantine Barcelona went from being a polluted, smelly, noisy tourist trap to a quiet, peaceful, friendly village with clean air and happy wildlife. The song is about that. I know it's idealistic and unrealistic to think things could stay that way but hey, who said songs have to be realistic?
It will be available on Spotify and other major platforms at the end of July. We thought we'd go "indie" first. Tell your friends.
NEW ALBUM - "Demos and Ideas 2015 - 2007"
Since all my live work has been cancelled for the foreseeable future I have decided to get on with a project I've had in mind for a while.
A collection of demos and unreleased song ideas dating back to 2007. Including he original 4 Track Cassette demo of "When I'm Drunk", the first mobile phone demo of "Angel" and loads more (15 tracks in all). The idea of releasing this now is to try and make a bit of money to pay bills and food as, like for most musicians, everything has been cancelled for now.
If you feel like supporting go to www.davidphilips.bandcamp.com where you can download the record. Many thanks and stay safe! DP x
NEW SONG for Spanish movie - "Te Quiero, Imbécil"
Recently I co-wrote and performed a song for a new Spanish romantic comedy called "Te Quiero, Imbécil" starring Natalia Tena and Quim Gutiérrez. The movie premiered the 24th of Jan 2020 and is in Spanish cinemas right now.
I co-wrote the song with award winning Spanish film composers Luc Suarez and Javier Bayon. You can hear the song below and it is also available on Spotify, iTunes and other platforms, released by Black and Tan Records.
